How can I receive salvation?

In Matthew 1:21, the angel told Joseph that Mary, "will give birth to son, and you are to give him the name Jesus because he will save his people from their sins."

In Acts 4:12, the Bible says, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

Jesus Christ came to save us by shedding his blood on the cross.  Hebrews 9:22 states, "...without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." You may sacrifice a sheep every year in Eed Al-Adhaa, and remember that when God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son, God provided a great ram to redeem Abraham's son.  This great ram is a symbol of Jesus Christ.

STEPS TO SALVATION

• Believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior.
• Come to Him and repent of your sins.  Ask him to forgive you and change your heart.  Jesus must become Lord of your life.  The contract that is signed in Jesus' blood is a contract that describes who your life belongs to.  Ask Jesus to be your Savior and Lord, then serve Him.
• Pray daily, read your Bible daily, feed your spirit the things of God, find a Bible based church with great teaching and get involved.
